Wimbledon 2009 tickets

"As long ago as 1924, the Club introduced a public ballot whereby the majority of Centre, No.1 and No.2 Court tickets are sold in advance.

The Public Ballot has always been substantially oversubscribed.
Entry into the Ballot does not automatically entitle applicants to tickets for Wimbledon, but a place in the draw for a pair of tickets.

Successful applicants are selected at random by computer. It is
not possible to request tickets for specific days or courts, as the
day and court offered are chosen randomly by a computerised selection process."

"To enter the draw for 2009 ballot you must first obtain an application form from 1st August 2008. (Requests postmarked after 15th December 2008 will NOT be processed.) Completed forms must be returned no later than 31st December 2008.

Please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope DL size (110mm x 220mm, 4 1/4 " x 8 5/8") - to:

Ticket Office
P.O. BOX 98
London SW19 5AE

Only ONE application per household is permitted. Please do not ask for more than one form: we will void your applications".

War on Terror, the board game
"It's got suicide bombers, political kidnaps and intercontinental war. It's got filthy propaganda, rampant paranoia and secret treaties and the Axis of Evil is a spinner in the middle of the board.
Buy the War on Terror now! War on Terror, the boardgame in all it's finery.

You can fight terrorism, you can fund terrorism, you can even be the terrorists. The only thing that matters is global domination - err, liberation."

10 Actors Who Passed on Film Roles

"Sometimes we can’t imagine another actor or actress in the starring role of our favorite films. Believe it or not, many of the most famous and beloved roles in some of the biggest movies belonged to another actor before they had to drop out or pass on the role. Some of these missed opportunities seem like good ideas, while others will make you cringe. Camera, Lights, List!"
